The abortion industry could care less about the dignity and well-being of women.

How can I make such a claim?

I mean if you look at Planned Parenthood’s website, or thumb through their annual report, you will see an ocean of pictures showing young women with big smiles on their faces.

But then there’s that pesky thing called research that asks the former abortion clients of Planned Parenthood and other abortion facilities about their “choice” to get an abortion.

And the data in that research reveals that 6 out of 10 women who have had abortions say they would not have chosen abortion if they had received more emotional and financial support. (See research here: https://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pmc/articles/PMC10257365/)

But wait.

When those 6 out of 10 women visited an abortion facility, didn’t the staff at the facility dive deep and find out what those women really wanted, which was to choose life, and then ask what the women needed in order to make that decision for life?

And assuming that the abortion facility staff did do that, do you think a $1.9 billion organization (for the year ended June 30, 2022) like Planned Parenthood could provide the emotional and financial support the women were seeking in order to choose life?

Of course they could.

I believe that it is gravely immoral to withhold from women information and resources that you have in your possession, that you could give to the women in order for them to get what they truly want, which is to choose life.

How could an industry that claims to stand for women’s rights, women’s freedom, and women’s choice, withhold information and resources from pregnant women that result in 6 out of 10 of them deciding they have no other option than to choose abortion?

Again, Planned Parenthood and the abortion industry could provide both the emotional support and the financial resources that are needed for 6 out of 10 abortion-seeking women to choose life.

But the abortion industry didn’t do that, they still don’t, and they almost assuredly won’t, ever.

Why is that?

If we think of it in business terms from the point of view of sales, I think the answer is obvious.

What does a good salesperson do?

First and foremost, a good salesperson’s top priority is to serve the needs of his or her prospective customers.

The salesperson’s top priority is NOT to get the sale.

If a salesperson closes a sale and he knows there was a product or service that would have been a much better fit for the prospect customer’s wants or needs, he has engaged in unethical sales.

Why would a salesperson do this?

Simple: MONEY

So if you want to understand how the abortion industry has moved from “Safe, legal and rare,” to “Shout your abortion,” in only a 25 year period, look no further than the almighty dollar.

I believe the abortion industry is guilty of two acts of unfathomable evil.

Upstream, the abortion industry withholds information and resources from women that would lead to 6 out of 10 of them choosing life instead of abortion.

And then downstream, the abortion industry takes the lives of hundreds of thousands of innocent preborn human lives every year.

It is an industry built on nothing more than blood money.
